Foremost (Thailand) has been a stalwart in the dairy industry since its inception in 1956, with the establishment of Foremost Dairy Food (Bangkok) Company Limited and the inauguration of its first factory in Lak Si District, Bangkok. As the years unfolded, the company's commitment to excellence led to the opening of a new factory in Samrong, Samut Prakan Province, in 1967. The product portfolio expanded in 1969 to include sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk, with a subsequent capacity boost in 1978 to support exports to Asian countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Laos.In 1984, Foremost embarked on the sale of UHT milk products, followed by the introduction of UHT yogurt products in 1993. The company's dedication to refining its offerings and focusing on its core business led to the strategic decision to sell the ice cream business to Wall in 1992. Foremost (Thailand) had previously operated the popular ice cream shop Pavilion Foremost, which had branches in major Bangkok theaters like Sala Chalermthai and Siam Cinema, but this venture was eventually discontinued.On July 20, 2022, Foremost took a significant step by announcing the closure of its Lak Si District factory after 65 years of pasteurized milk production. This decision was driven by a financial loss of 1,300 million baht, marking the first time the company faced such challenges. Despite this, Foremost is poised for a new chapter, refocusing its efforts on the production of long-lasting dairy products.The company's current product lineup showcases a diverse range, including Foremost Omega 369 Milk in plain, sweet, and chocolate variants, Foremost Omega 369 Gold Milk, and Foremost Omega 369 Yogurt Drink. The UHT milk offerings, branded as "Foremost," come in various flavors such as Tasteless, Sweet, Chocolate, Strawberry, Banana, Skim Tasteless, and Skim Butter with a chocolate flavor. The UHT yogurt line, known as "Yomost," and the yogurt cup type under the "Foremost" label are additional highlights. For those with a sweet tooth, Foremost provides a selection of condensed milk and sweetened condensed milk options like "Rua Sai," "Falcon," and "My Boy."Through its rich history and ongoing commitment to quality, Foremost (Thailand) continues to be a prominent player in the dairy industry, adapting and evolving to meet the changing demands of consumers.
