Peerapat Technology Public Company Limited, also known as “PRAPAT,” traces its roots back to its foundation as Peerapat Chemical Industry Company Limited. Established in 1988 by Mr. Suebpong Ketnute, a seasoned professional in Industrial Cleaning and Disinfectant Business, the company emerged from the visionary efforts of Mr. Suebpong and a group of like-minded schoolmates who graduated from the Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry Engineering at Chulalongkorn University.

Mr. Suebpong’s extensive experience in the industrial cleaning agents field began with his tenure at BASF (Thai) Company Limited, a leading global company from Germany. During his time at BASF, he spearheaded a groundbreaking business expansion project focused on cleaning agents for industrial machinery—a novel concept for Thailand at that time. Unfortunately, due to changes in BASF’s main shareholder structure, the project was discontinued.

Undeterred, Mr. Suebpong saw an opportunity beyond cleaning agents, particularly in the food and tourism industry in Thailand. Convincing his schoolmates, the company was officially established with a registered capital of 2.00 million Baht.

Initially concentrating on manufacturing and distributing laundry detergents tailored for large washing machines, the company targeted hotel and hospital customers with large-volume laundry services. Recognizing the potential for growth, the management team expanded the company’s offerings to include solutions for floor cleaning, kitchen cleaning, and equipment for swimming pool systems. This strategic move transformed the business into a comprehensive service provider for its key customer groups.

With a long-term vision in mind, the management team devised a strategy to diversify its customer base across various industries and factories. This led to the research and development of disinfectants, specifically catering to customers in the food and beverage industry. These disinfectants ensure hygienic processes without compromising health or causing contamination in the production of food and beverages.

Additionally, the company supports its reagent sales through the importation of equipment, such as automatic detergent dispensers for laundry and sterilization applications. It further extends its product portfolio by importing automatic dishwashing machines to cater to the kitchen work group, complementing the sale of dishwashing liquids and drying agents. The comprehensive approach also includes the import and distribution of various swimming pool equipment, ranging from pump systems to treatment systems, demonstrating PRAPAT’s commitment to providing holistic solutions in the industrial cleaning and disinfectant industry.
