🇵🇸 Breaking News : Haniyeh of Hamas Declares Honorable Conclusion to Gaza Battle: Resilience Prevails
Hamas Political Bureau Chief, Ismail Haniyeh, declared on Wednesday evening that the Gaza battle is on the verge of an honorable conclusion, attributing it to the remarkable resilience and courageous resistance of the people of Gaza.
In his address, Haniyeh asserted the steadfastness of the Gaza Strip’s Resistance, asserting that the Israeli occupation is on the decline. He emphasized that the legendary resilience and brave resistance have yielded unforeseen consequences, casting doubt on the alliances of the enemy.
Haniyeh stressed that the Palestinian people have been enduring targets of occupation, urging Arab and Islamic nations to intensify their efforts in support of the Palestinian cause.
Highlighting the impending consequences for the Israeli enemy, Haniyeh stated that they would pay the price for their actions. He commended the heroic efforts of the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Resistance, specifically noting significant losses inflicted on the enemy in al-Shujaiya and Jabalia.
Furthermore, Haniyeh acknowledged the impactful blow dealt by the Al-Aqsa Flood Battle to the Israeli occupation, shaking both its military and political leadership.
Expressing gratitude for international solidarity against Israeli aggression, Haniyeh thanked supporters advocating for the removal of the blockade on Gaza. He lauded the positions of Saudi Arabia and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, welcoming the UN General Assembly’s resolution for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.
Hamas’ willingness to engage in discussions or initiatives to halt aggression and address internal affairs in the West Bank and Gaza Strip was also emphasized by Haniyeh. He underlined that any hopes for arrangements in Gaza without the involvement of Hamas or Resistance factions are mere illusions.
On the Israeli side, the military admitted on Wednesday that the toll of soldiers killed since October 7 had risen to 444 officers and cadets. Notably, 82 soldiers from the elite Golani brigades, among the most prestigious units in the Israeli forces, were included in this high toll. The report detailed that 103 of the deceased soldiers held the rank of captain or higher, with five being colonels, including the commander of a brigade. The military confirmed that 10 soldiers, mostly officers, were killed in battles in northern Gaza on Tuesday.
