🇬🇧🇮🇱 Controversial Epstein Ties: Tony Blair’s Dual Role as Peace Envoy and Patron Raises Questions
Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s involvement in the delicate dynamics of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has come under scrutiny, revealing a web of connections that raise questions about potential conflicts of interest. Blair, acting as a Peace Envoy to Palestine, simultaneously held a patronage role with the Jewish National Fund (JNF), the largest Israeli settlement building body in Palestine.
Adding another layer of complexity, Blair’s wife, Cherie Blair, served as an “ethical adviser” to the Israeli intelligence firm NSO Group, responsible for developing the controversial Pegasus spyware.
Blair’s ascent to the position of Prime Minister in Britain is alleged to have been influenced by Israel lobbyists, particularly his close relationship with Michael Levy. Levy, known for fundraising for Blair, also worked as a fundraiser for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Levy’s son, Daniel Levy, was concurrently employed by Israeli Justice Minister Yossi Beilin. Blair’s introduction to Levy occurred through Israeli Embassy officer Gideon Meir in London during Blair’s tenure as the shadow Home Secretary.
Levy, instrumental in raising funds for Blair, secured contributions from influential Israel lobbyists such as Trevor Chinn, a supporter of current politicians Starmer and Lammy, Emmanuel Kaye of Labour Friends of Israel, and Westfield chairman Frank Lowy, a Haganah veteran during the Nakba.
Israel lobbyist Lord Levy’s involvement extended to obtaining a £1 million donation to Labour from Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone, prompting its return to avoid potential allegations of impropriety.
During Blair’s time in government, he appointed Levy to a position of influence at the Foreign Office, acting as an unofficial envoy to the Middle East. However, Levy faced accusations from Lebanese politicians of prioritizing advocacy for the Israeli government over British interests during discussions.
The intricate nature of Blair’s ties to Israel, combined with his dual roles and connections, warrants further investigation into his contributions and influence in the region. Additionally, claims regarding Tony Blair’s connection to Epstein Island are now emerging, raising calls for a thorough investigation into this aspect of his personal history.
