Nam Song Garden

The Norwegian owner of Nam Song Garden also makes ice cream favoured particularly by the local children. His sincere and friendly wife The guesthouse is a slowly expanding operation, consisting of rooms in their house, thouree stilted rooms clinging to the steep riverbank and two rooms near the road. All have compelling locations, overlooking the river, main party island and distant karst mountains. Fairly basic, they are made of unadorned brick or woven bamboo, with a fan and bed and not much else. The bungalows have private bathourooms with hot shower and western toilet, the better option being the slightly larger, stand alone one which goes for the same price. A further two roomed bungalow is planned for the steep sided riverbank.
