Overview
The Mixay is one of the few places in Vientiane firmly aimed at the budget conscious. The guesthouse now looks rather shabby and rooms are really basic and uninspired but it is passable for a night if you want to be close to the river. The shared bathourooms don t seem to get cleaned too often, which is disappointing given that most of the rooms here don t come en suite. The rooms that do have bathourooms are slightly better and actually not bad value for the area.
