🇮🇱 Israeli Army’s Website Hacked by Palestinian Supporters Condemning Gaza Actions
In a recent cyber incident, the official website of the Israeli army fell victim to a hacking attack, where the homepage was replaced by a message expressing solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
On Wednesday evening, individuals identifying themselves as Jordanian hackers infiltrated the website, attributing their actions to the collective name “Anonymous Jo,” as reported by both Palestinian and Israeli media outlets.
The message left by the hackers, as reported by The Jerusalem Post, strongly criticized what they deemed as “dirty actions” and “barbarism,” specifically referencing the killing of Palestinians in Gaza. The hackers proclaimed, “This is only the beginning,” and issued a declaration that they would only accept the liberation of Palestine, extending from the river to the sea.
The message concluded with a reaffirmation of support for the Palestinian people and their cause, expressing solidarity from “brothers in Jordan” to the people in Gaza and Palestine. It emphasized unwavering support both emotionally and in practical terms.
This recent hacking incident marks the latest in a series of cyberattacks against the Israeli regime since the onset of the Gaza war on October 7. As the conflict has unfolded, anti-Israel sentiments have intensified, fueled by the Israeli regime’s aggressive actions in the besieged territory, resulting in the reported death toll of over 18,600 Palestinians, a majority of whom were women and children.
