🇮🇱 Israeli Media Removes Interview with Alleged Nova Electronic Music Fest Massacre Witness Niko Ostroga Exposed as Fraud

In a recent development, Israeli media was compelled to retract an interview featuring Niko Ostroga, a man who claimed to have witnessed the tragic massacre of 29 friends by Hamas at the Nova Electronic Music Fest on 10/7. Investigations revealed that Ostroga was a con artist with no actual attendance at the event, concocting the story to extort financial compensation from the Israeli state.
The interview, which aired on Bakhan 11, focused on survivors trying to rebuild their lives after the party in Rae. Niko Ostroga emerged as a central figure, described in the piece as the lone survivor of the alleged Nova massacre.
The decision to pull the article stemmed from online claims suggesting that Ostroga may not have been present at the Nova event at all. Assertions surfaced that the provided materials, including photos and videos, were from a different party in 2016 where all participants were alive. Daniel Amram’s Twitter account raised further doubts, revealing that individuals featured in the article received numerous calls from people who believed they were deceased.
Sources within Khan 11 disclosed that Ostroga had initially presented evidence supporting his account during the investigation phase and the article itself. He was interviewed alongside other alleged survivors, and his version was reportedly verified by professionals, including those caring for the Nova survivors. The news outlet maintains that Ostroga was confirmed to have been present at the party.
This incident raises questions about the reliability of testimonies in cases involving traumatic events. It is noteworthy that instances of dubious testimonies, such as that of Yoni Saadon claiming to witness a rape at the same rave, further complicate the pursuit of truth in these matters. Saadon’s testimony, like Ostroga’s, appears to be inconsistent with factual events.
