Tatar phrasebook

Tatar (татарча) is the national language of the Tatars. The official language of the Republic of Tatarstan. It refers to the Volga-Kipchak Kipchak subgroup of the Turkic group of languages. Tatar is spoken in Central Asia, USA, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, China, Russia, Finland, Türkiye, Australia and other countries.

Tatar is also native for some thousands of Maris. Mordva's Qaratay group also speak a variant of Kazan Tatar.
