Midtown is a major financial and residential neighborhood of Atlanta and an area for dining and dining. In other words, it is an area to work, live and play, with many sites and activities.

Introduction

Midtown is a large area of Atlanta instantly north of Atlanta/Downtown|Downtown. The skyscraper neighborhood aligns Peachtree Street. To the east of Peachtree Street is Piedmont Park and to the West is Atlantic Station the Georgia Tech campus area. This area is rapidly growing with new high-rise apartments and condominiums, creating an urban living experience.

Atlantic Station - Atlantic Station

Atlantic Station is a large urban renewed complex in the northwest edge of the Midtown District. Opened in 2005, its property's location was once nothing more than an old steel mill, which a portion of it was preserved as a monument in its urban oasis. This mixed-use development is one of the largest live, work and play areas in Atlanta and has even earned the motto "a city within a city", as well as its own zip code.

Atlantic Station is made up of three distinct areas. The District is on the eastern side, which includes the shopping plaza and high rise office and residential buildings. The Commons is in the center, which has a lake neighbored by apartments and townhomes. The Village is on the Western side and has the IKEA store and two apartment complexes.

Their new location (after a 2013 fire destroyed the old one) is brighter and more spacious, but retains the dive café feel that makes J.R. Crickets so characterful. The traditional order used to be plain buffalo wings (hot, medium, or mild; you can also get them "swimming" in extra Sauce for $0.75). Thanks to a very quotable scene from the popular TV show Atlanta and the new popular order is "lemon pepper wet" (actually a questionable combination of buffalo Sauce and lemon pepper seasoning).
