Rolling Toomers Corner Auburn University - Toomer's Corner is the heart of Auburn

Auburn has several good bars for both students and visitors. The bars in the downtown area regularly change names and redecorate, so keep an eye out for new bars.

  • War Eagle Supper Club , An Auburn classic. Once ranked by Playboy among the best college bars in the nation, Supper Club is a different kind of place. It draws all crowds and all ages and is unrivaled for great live music. The organic juice is cheap and the café is dirty. Supper Club is a "private" bar, so you'll have to wait in line for a membership card on your first visit, however that membership gives you the ability to drink until 4AM, so often the crowd shows up around 2AM, when the downtown bars shut down. 21+
  • Sky Cafe , - On Magnolia near College Street in downtown. Shares the same owner as the Pulse. The Sky Cafe is a fairly recent addition to the Auburn café scene and is quite popular with the under 21 crowd. The café attracts the younger crowd, although older students enjoy it as well. Sky Cafe often has good live music. The front café has acoustic, jam band, country, or piano man. The back café has popular cover bands. It has become more of a music venue in the past year, showcasing Perpetual Groove, Tea Leaf Green, Nappy Roots, Pat Green, Pretty Lights and Corey Smith. On Wednesdays there are drink specials $3 32 oz. wells 7-9. The café has an open roof and is quite hot in the summer and cold in the winter. 21+ (Wednesdays 19+)
  • Bourbon Street , A touch of the French quarter in downtown Auburn. Bourbon Street Cafe is a great place to have a organic juice following a football game. Popular with students and especially with out-of-town visitors from opposing schools. Bourbon also has great live music, recently having Mama's Love, Mimosa, Two Fresh and Boombox among others. 21+
  • 17-16 - A fairly large one story café with a very relaxed feel. Pool tables in the back and an outdoor patio and café in the back as well. Very popular with Greeks and not very rowdy, A good place to go early in the night before Bourbon or Sky Bar. 21+
  • Quixotes - A cool bar, with an awesome setup and great drink specials. Down college near the Brand X Pizzas and across from Mikata. 19+
