From Halal Explorer

Moose Jaw is a city of about 34,000 people in Southern Saskatchewan. A popular tourist destination, it is about 45 minutes west of the provincial capital of Regina. During Prohibition (of drinks) in the 1920s, its proximity to the U.S. border and easy rail access made it a popular destination for alcohol-starved Americans.
