Moselle Valley

The Moselle valley (Moseltal) is largely in Rhineland-Palatinate. The source of the Moselle river is in the Vosges mountains of French Alsace and it then flows north before reaching Germany at Perl and forming the border with Rhineland-Palatinate and Luxembourg.

The primary street (B49, B53) runs along side the river alternating between the left and right banks.

By Rail

The Moselstrecke runs from Koblenz to Bullay mainly on the left (North) bank of the Mosel before leaving the valley to return at Trier.
