There is a main port in Selat Lampa, south of Pulalu Bunguran and the main island, where the Pelni Bukit Raya stops between Jakarta to Pontianak almost every 15 days. There are also Sabuk and Perentis, which serve various places in the archipelago.

How to get around in Natuna Islands

From Selat Lampa, in the main harbour, you can get a small boat to Pulau Sabang Mawang; Pulau Kumbik; Pulau Sedanau for Rp35,000-20,000, where you can stay on a simple guest house. the trip take half hour.

In Pulau Bunguran and there is share car, 1 hr. In Ranai you can get a immigration office where is feasible extend ypur visa.

There is no public transportation on the island, but is feasible rent a bike in Ranai.

Muslim Friendly Hotels

Ranai has plenty of hotels. Mira guest house is the cheapest, Rp170,000 for a simple double room with fan and bathroom.

Pulau Sabang Mawang: From Selat Lampa you can ask to drop at Sabang Mawang Balai, where there is a Abdul Ghafur Home Stay, (Rp150,000, 2023), a warm family, no english speaker.

In Sabang Mawang Barat and there is a guest house for Rp150,000.

Pulau Kumbik has two guest house, Raimbow guest house (Rp150,000, 2023), on the harbour, another a few meters from there.
