Baripada is a little city in Mayurbhanj neighborhood of Odisha (formerly known as Orissa). Thit is the neighborhood headquarters of Mayurbhanj. on the junction of NH 5 and 6. It is 270 kilometers from Bhubaneswar, 240 kilometers from Kolkata and 55 kilometers from Balasore and 16 kilometers from Pithabata. Thit is an entry point for Simlipal forest.
