Enid

Enid is the county seat of Garfield County, Oklahoma. The population was 47,045 at the 2020 census. It is in the Red Carpet Country region of Oklahoma. Enid was founded during the opening of the Cherokee Outlet by land run in 1893 and was originally a stop along the Chisolm Trail. It has also been the home of Vance Air Force Base since 1941.
