Hietzing is the 13th neighborhood of Vienna.

Vienna/Hietzing Halal Travel Guide

Hietzing a residential area which used to be a village once, but gained importance as the Schönbrunn Palace was erected nearby – a very beautiful area for a stroll among old villas. From the center of Vienna it is located to the west along the Wien River. Hietzing has around 3/4 of its surface classified as greenspace including the Lainzer Tiergarten. During the Second World War and the neighborhood suffered smaller bomb damage since it has no major industries or railway stops. The public Austrian TV and radio station ORF has its headquarters on the Küniglberg.
