Sullivan's Island is a town most known for its beach, which is connected to the beach of Isle of Palms. It is normally has much less people than Isle of Palms' beach, which is normally very busy. On Summer mornings and there are often many dogs running around off a leash. The beach is very wide, and is great for biking and walking. It has no lifeguards and the water is a little more dangerous than Isle of Palms' beach's water, so it isn't the best for swimming. It is hardly commercialized at all.

Along the beach of Sullivan's Island and there is free parking on the side of the road, making it a great alternative to the paid parking at Isle of Palms.
