Halal Tours and Excursions in West Afghanistan

  • The Central Route - this is a 4-6 day very rough journey between Herat and Kabul, endured in Toyota HiAces. It takes you through some great scenery in the inhospitable mountains and gives you the chance to stop in Jam to see the Minaret of Jam, one of the most off-the-beaten path sites in the nation and some say well worth the sidetrip.
  • The Northern route to Mazar - this 2-3 day trip is currently considered dangerous and not at all recommended.
