🇪🇬 Israeli Agent Killed in Alexandria, Egypt – Group Claims Responsibility
Last Updated on July 20, 2024
An Israeli businessman, identified as Ziv Kipper, CEO of OK Group LLC specializing in frozen fruits and vegetables, was reported killed in Alexandria, Egypt. The Israeli Foreign Ministry is investigating the incident.
Reports indicate that Kipper entered Egypt using a Canadian passport, as per Israeli news source Ynet. Meanwhile, a statement attributed to a group called Vanguards of Liberation – the group of martyr Mohammad Salah – circulated on social media, claiming responsibility for the killing. The group referred to Kipper as a “criminal Israeli agent,” alleging that his business activities were a cover for espionage work, including information gathering and recruitment for the Israeli Mossad.
The statement hinted at possessing detailed intelligence about Kipper’s alleged activities and promised further revelations in the future. The Vanguards of Liberation group is associated with Mohammad Salah, a 23-year-old Egyptian soldier known for a previous operation against Israeli troops that resulted in the deaths of three soldiers on October 8.
This incident follows another on the same date in 2023, where an Egyptian police officer carried out a shooting operation in Alexandria, resulting in the deaths of at least three Israelis.
