MILWAUKEE — As the rain pours outside, the Muslim community in Milwaukee has an exciting reason to stay indoors and savor delectable halal meals during the Eat Halal Milwaukee Week, running from July 7 to July 16, 2023.
Our We’re Open series highlights Onesto, a delightful Italian spot located in the Third Ward, just north of Chicago, which has joined in on the celebration.
Participating in the Eat Halal Milwaukee initiative, Onesto and numerous other restaurants are taking steps to diversify the halal cuisine offered in the city, with the goal of catering to the growing Muslim population. By switching to halal vendors, these restaurants are ensuring that Muslim diners can enjoy their meals with the confidence that their dietary preferences are respected.
